Grenkow’s U-Pick started in 1998 as a very small strawberry u-pick hobby.  With three small children and lots of energy we have had a great time "growing" our new business.  We have a great location - next door to Winnipeg! The garden, now at approx 10 acres, includes a vegetable u-pick and a flower u-pick. 

Our families have had a long history of farming in Manitoba, mainly in dairy.  The Grenkow families farmed near Stony Mountain and the Van Walleghem families farmed in Fort Garry.  Our generation has never dairy farmed, we took over the family grain and beef farm in 1988. We have enjoyed diversifying our business to include the U-Pick.
